Simulations & PsxCad

For more than 20 years, Powerspex has been working on its own open-platform simulation program called PsxCad.
PsxCad is developed by the in-house research & development department. Total process installations are simulated in PsxCad. Software can be pre-engineered and tested before commissioning. Thanks to PsxCad, processes and projects are initiated more efficiently and commissioning is accelerated. A PsxCad simulation can grow with the installation. PsxCad offers insight into the future; PsxCad makes it clear at an early stage which potential solutions work and which do not. PsxCad optimizes automation processes to the extreme.

Simulation software for design, analysis and training

PsxCad Simulation Software is a simulation program that can be used to create dynamic simulations.
The program can be used to create small and large simulations and simulators of energy and process installations, such as power plants, heat networks, drinking water networks, as well as electrolyser plants, beer breweries and aircraft engines, among others.

The simulations and simulators mostly consist of three layers:

  1. Process model with the simulation of a physical plant
  2. Logics with the simulation of schemes, controls and alarms
  3. Screens with the control screens

With the program you can easily and quickly create simulations using libraries for all three layers.
In addition, you can design your own typicals to efficiently build larger simulations and simulators.
