There is plenty of interest in technology among ROC students, we noticed during the ROC van Twente's internship market. Students who showed their interest received an invitation to visit Powerspex soon.
Powerspex was one of two hundred companies that presented themselves at the ROC van Twente's internship fair on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Although there were students from a wide variety of studies, there appeared to be a gratifying interest in internships in engineering.

On behalf of Powerspex, Kai Veltmaat, Jonathan Ravenhorst and Tristan Roebersen manned the booth. "We met quite a few electrical engineering and mechatronics students," Roebersen reports. "We told them about the many opportunities in terms of internships and apprenticeships at Powerspex. And of course also about the career opportunities in engineering, because there are plenty of them, especially with us."
Students invited on site
Students who expressed interest in an internship position at Powerspex will receive an e-mail this week inviting them to an on-site introductory meeting at Powerspex on Aquamarijnstraat in Hengelo. "They are very welcome to see the company and find out what internship opportunities we have for them. There are plenty of them," Roebersen said.
