Powerspex's workshop in Hengelo has been expanded with a mezzanine. The mezzanine floor suddenly makes the workshop 112 square meters larger.

That space will be used to increase storage capacity, says workshop manager Tristan Roebersen. "The height of the workshop is finally being put to good use thanks to the mezzanine. The space is high enough to add a large storage area. It will be an enclosed space from which we will soon know exactly what is 'on the shelf'."
Implementation via Syntess
The inventory will be implemented in the new ERP system Syntess that Powerspex will be working with starting January 1. Syntess is going to make financial administration a lot more efficient, it is expected since it is one system for all work processes, from office to field service. Syntess has an additional module for the warehouse. This gives users insight into exact inventory. Seen this way, the new mezzanine provides more efficiency.
Recently, employees were already explained about Syntess during the field service meeting.
Furnish mezzanine
The mezzanine is now installed and ready for use. Roebersen: "Now it is a matter of furnishing it. That is a process that will be taken time to do it as efficiently as possible. It may take up to 2 years, but then it will be done as well as possible."
