Powerspex is collecting sleeping bags for the Enschede-based Sheltersuit Foundation. The collection is in full swing and anyone can contribute. "Old sleeping bags left over? Bring them to us and we'll make sure they get to Sheltersuit."

Powerspex has been a sponsor of Sheltersuit for several years. As an extra effort, the process automation company from Hengelo collects sleeping bags.
"Broken zipper, torn fabric, maybe not so nice anymore... Reasons enough to get rid of a sleeping bag," says Gerrie de Vries who arranges the sleeping bag collection on behalf of Powerspex. "Or maybe the sleeping bags have simply been lying unused in the attic for years. Either way, don't throw away sleeping bags but bring them to us and we will deliver them to Sheltersuit."
The sleeping bags are used as lining for the Sheltersuits, the wind- and waterproof jackets that are distributed and used in a wide variety of locations; wherever people have to sleep on the streets. This can have all sorts of causes, from homelessness to earthquakes.

Turn in sleeping bags
Anyone wishing to turn in a sleeping bag is welcome during office hours at Powerspex on Aquamarijnstraat 5 in Hengelo, in the Twentekanaal business park. Just ask for Gerrie de Vries.
Of course you can also hand in your sleeping bags at the Veenendaal branch; then the employees will make sure that they arrive in Hengelo. The address is Wildeman 2.
Don't you live in Hengelo or Veenendaal? Maybe one of our employees lives in your neighborhood; then you can bring the sleeping bags there. Please send an e-mail to info@powerspex.nl.
All types welcome
All sleeping bags are welcome, provided they do not contain down as it cannot be cut. So standard cotton and polyester sleeping bags. A broken zipper is not a problem; it is not used anyway.
