There is a vacancy for a panel builder available at Powerspex. Actually, there are two vacancies, because there is room at both the Hengelo and Veenendaal locations. "At both locations, we are looking for panel builders who want to work independently on assignments," says Tristan Roebersen.
The working atmosphere
Roebersen is workshop manager at Powerspex and talks about the vacant positions: "These are vacancies for MBO electrical engineering or mechatronics students. We welcome our new colleagues to a company with a good working atmosphere. We work hard, but feel free to have a chat. Here, everyone is given the time to develop. And do you gradually become interested in the other disciplines within Powerspex? There are always opportunities for advancement, although this position is also fun enough to fill your entire career."
Your working day
What will your working day look like?
"We start at 7.30 a.m. with a cup of coffee, after which you go to the workshop with your colleagues to start working on your own project. All panel builders are assigned a project and the corresponding engineering package is included. The control cabinets are built on the basis of this. In principle, this is in the workshop, with the occasional trip to a customer location. We work 8 hours a day and always end the week with a Friday afternoon drink."
Two locations
Powerspex has two branches; Hengelo and Veenendaal. The Veenendaal location is currently being renovated. The new colleague will soon be working in a renovated building with a spacious workshop.
